The community at Loidholdhof

Over 40 people with and without support needs live and work at Loidholdhof. They have found their home here. Together they form the so-called „Integrative Farm Community Loidholdhof“.

They show how it is possible for people with and without support needs to live together in everyday life – away from institutionalised assistance for disabled people. Loidholdhof is run by the ARGE für Anthroposophisches Heilwesen Ita-Wegman-Therapeutikum Linz e.V.

The services offered by Loidholdhof include shared living as part of „Help through living“ with currently 12 residential places and 1 short-term residential place.  And joint work within the framework of „ability-orientated activity“ with currently 23 jobs within the integrative farm project.

Loidholdhof is also characterised by an inclusive housing concept, which includes 4 family- and staff-flats.

Loidholdhof is an agricultural and social training farm. The farm covers 30 hectares with animal husbandry, arable farming, forestry, beekeeping, gardening, bakery, wood and weaving workshop, kitchen, housekeeping, laundry, house cleaning, farm café and farm shop.

Loidholdhof has many years of experience in providing skills-orientated support and training for people with support needs. Inclusive training programmes are offered as part of the Loidholdhof Academy.
